FastMatch launches matching engine in London
Foreign exchange electronic communications network (ECN) FastMatch has launched a matching engine in London this week as it seeks to improve the latency of its New York-based offering for European clients.
The matching engine will be housed in co-location provider Equinix's LD4 data centre in Slough, which is about 22 miles west of London, and will give clients access to real-time quotes and trade information. A number of FX spot platforms claim to offer liquidity from providers in London
