BAML hires ex-BNP Paribas spot trader

PE opportunities in the hands of hedge funds

Colin Devereux, formerly director and foreign exchange spot trader at BNP Paribas, has joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) in a similar role.

Based in London, Devereux reports locally to Joe Landes, head of G-10 FX spot trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Devereux had been at BNP Paribas since January 2012 and reported locally to Bob de Groot, head of FX spot trading. Prior to that, he traded FX at Citi for six years and has also worked at Brown Brothers Harriman and UBS.
