IG to roll out MetaTrader 4 alongside proprietary platform

UK-based spread betting and retail foreign exchange broker IG is to make trading available through MetaTrader 4 (MT4) in the coming weeks, as the electronic platform continues to gain traction in the retail FX market.

The move comes in response to client demand and will see all IG clients offered a choice of using either MT4 or the IG proprietary platform that has been the only option until now. While the pricing will be similar on both platforms, it will be slightly more expensive to trade on
