CBA appoints spot FX trader in London

Commonwealth Bank of Australia has hired Andre Katz as a director in foreign exchange spot trading.

Based in London, Katz began his new role in September. He reports to James Connell, global head of G-10 spot trading in Sydney, and Kieran Salter, global head of FX in London.

Katz joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML), where he spent almost eight years trading spot FX, most recently as a director covering G-10 spot for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Prior to joining BAML in 2005
