Jackson named head of BoE's FX division

She replaces Michael Cross who left in July

Rebecca Jackson has been appointed as head of the Bank of England's (BoE) foreign exchange division, replacing Michael Cross who left in July after six years in the role.

Jackson first joined the UK's central bank in the 1990s before moving to the financial regulator, the Financial Services Authority, later renamed the Financial Conduct Authority.
