FX trading platform FastMatch has hired Andrew Gibson as director of sales for Europe.

He joins the venue after spending a year as director of global sales at FX technology provider TradAir.

Based in London, Gibson will report to Paul Ainsworth, global head of sales.

Prior to TradAir, Gibson worked at ABN Amro Clearing Bank for seven years as a sales manager for FX products, as well as at BNP Paribas Fortis in a similar role for four years.
