Greig will head spot trading for Emea while Young takes over from Pavitt

HSBC has appointed Angus Greig as head of FX spot trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea), while Andrew Young, previously an emerging markets (EM) FX trader, has replaced David Pavitt as head of EMFX cash trading for Emea, freeing up Pavitt to focus entirely on the bank's renminbi business.

Greig previously worked at Deutsche Bank between 2001 and 2012, and has also served on the chief dealers' subgroup of the Bank of England's foreign exchange joint standing committee. He brings
