Saxo appoints Jakobsen as co-head of global sales trading

Saxo Bank has appointed Steen Jakobsen as co-head of global sales trading, in a move aimed at bolstering client-facing services.

In his new role, Jakobsen will work alongside Theo Papathanasiou, who has headed the division since March 2014.

In conjunction with his new duties, Jakobsen will remain the Danish bank's chief investment officer and chief economist.
