New Zealand-based Global Dairy Trade (GDT), the world's leading dairy product platform, has launched a new data service that will allow traders and market participants to gain in-depth insight in real time on crucial fortnightly auctions.

The data, while at first not obviously connected with foreign exchange, is a key driver of the New Zealand dollar, which often jumps on the back of supply-and-demand indicators for dairy products. Until now, the fortnightly auctions and the rounds of bidding
