Jim Iorio, former head of global foreign exchange and commodities distribution at Barclays, has joined Icap-owned EBS BrokerTec as global head of sales.

New York-based Iorio will be responsible for all sales across the EBS and BrokerTec platforms, for a variety of asset classes and products. He will report to EBS BrokerTec chief executive Gil Mandelzis, and also sit on the technology and solutions provider's executive management committee.
