Bonamy joins HSBC in newly created role

New global head of FX and commodities arrives after long tenure at Societe Generale

HSBC hires Bonamy as global head of FX and commodities

Vincent Bonamy has joined HSBC, in a newly created role as the bank's global head of FX and commodities intermediary services. He arrives from Societe Generale, where he was the French bank's head of fixed income and commodities e-commerce and client facilitation. Bonamy spent more than nine years at SocGen.

Bonamy will be based in London, reporting to Frederic Boillereau, HSBC's global head of FX and commodities, and global head of markets corporate services. The appointment is effective
