Kendrick heads to Standard Chartered

Macro strategy: Geoffrey Kendrick will cover emerging markets

Geoffrey Kendrick, former head of Asia FX and rates strategy at Morgan Stanley, has joined Standard Chartered as an emerging market FX and global macro strategist.

Kendrick returns to London after a three-year stint at the Hong Kong office of Morgan Stanley, which he joined in 2013. He has held FX strategy roles at Nomura (2010–13), UBS (2008–10) and Westpac (2004–08).

Kendrick also taught global macro strategy at Cass Business School in London (2010–13).

Standard Chartered declined to comment.
