ADS granted investment banking licence in Hong Kong
Type 6 licence allows the firm to act as a financial adviser to corporates
The Hong Kong Securities & Futures Commission has granted ADS Securities a Type 6 – investment banking – licence, as the broker aims to further diversify its business activities.
ADS Hong Kong already held Type 1, 2 and 3 licences, but the latest addition authorises it to advise clients on corporate finance, including acting as a financial adviser for merger and acquisition transactions, fundraising, corporate and capital restructuring, securities financing and disclosure obligations.
