Alder Capital adds funds as pension funds diversify
DUBLIN - Alder Capital has seen funds in its Friends Insight Currency Fund grow 60% this year to about $320 million in October, mainly attracting interest from pension funds looking to diversify away from equities.
"We have seen interest from a number of pension fund investors over the past year - also from those that would not normally look at foreign exchange as an asset class," said Brian McCarthy, Alder's Dublin-based director. "A lot of them are moving into currencies for the first time
