Allure Of Globex System Is Fading As Once-Keen Exchanges Look Elsewhere

The Globex after-hours futures and options order-matching system isn't the hot club it used to be. Would-be partner exchanges, once eager to join Reuters and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) in the venture, are now dragging their feet and eying alternative systems. Without them, Globex's liquidity and earnings--already thin--appear doomed to slow growth.
