Gain Capital rolls out web-based platform

The new ForexTrader for Windows is based on Microsoft .NET technology, and is downloaded from the company's site to an investor's desktop. Previously, the platform would open only via a web browser.
The platform redirects users to the company's sites, gaincapital.com or forex.com, which cater for institutional and retail clients respectively. Gain has also launched a light browser-based version, which can also be used on mobile phones, called ForexTrader.web.
