Forex Industry Remembers Mallon As Having Larger-Than-Life Persona

With the passing of one of the first foreign exchange brokers in New York, industry professionals reflect upon the "larger-than-life" persona of Thomas Mallon, both in and out of the trading room. Mallon passed away on May 17 from melanoma.

"He was one of the more upstanding professionals in the business--nice, honest and a hard worker," says Michael Snow, senior managing director of securities at Union Bank of Switzerland in New York. Snow met Mallon through the business and became good friends
