Tony Martin, managing director in charge of FX at MW Marshall & Co in London, and a 17-year veteran of the company, is retiring from the markets at the end of July, says Steve Plunkett, chairman and chief executive. On Martin's departure, Plunkett will take direct responsibility for FX, assisted by Peter Johnston and an FX committee. Separately, Mike Smith has been named as the new chief executive for Marshall New York. Smith was previously managing director in charge of Marshall's Toronto
