BZW's Von Ungern-Sternberg Resigns, While Thrush Hired For Global FX Post

In yet another twist in what some observers call the bank's "permanent revolution" in FX, BZW's deputy chief executive and head of treasury products, Alexander von Ungern-Sternberg, resigned last week after only 15 months in the job, according Robert Diamond, the recently-recruited head of global markets at the bank.

Sternberg's head of FX trading in London, Klaus-Peter Moeritz, has also left the bank. BZW officials confirm that Paul Thrush, formerly global foreign exchange chief at NationsBanc
