Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) has promoted Seth Garrett to a newly created post as global head of spot trading in New York, says a bank official. Meanwhile, Joe Cambria joined CSFB last week to run the New York spot trading desk, succeeding Garrett. Cambria was head of spot FX trading at NatWest Markets in New York, and previously spent a number of years with Banque Paribas in New York, where he was the FX manager.
