Standard Chartered Names Yau To Manage Forex In Hong Kong

Standard Chartered (StanChart) has named Stephen Yau as its new manager for the bank's Hong Kong foreign exchange and interest-rate trading operation, according to treasurer Stanley Wong (FXW, July 17).

Yau, along with sales and marketing manager Allen Clennar, will be part of Wong's strategy for the year in getting "back to the basics," whereby StanChart will focus on customer service as well as leveraging on that in the interbank market.
