StanChart Continues A-P Build-Up; Formulates Closer Links With London

Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore recently hired four senior FX managers and is planning to add another 30 staff to its dealing room over the coming months, according to group head of treasury Mike Rees. Rees, who was recently named to the global treasury post in London, will maintain his position as regional treasurer for the bank in Singapore until a successor is named (FXW, September 1).
