Swiss Bank Study Finds Major Cost Savings In Automated Systems For Foreign Exchange

Swiss Bank Corp. (SBC) has released a study on foreign exchange transaction costs done at 13 of the world's largest banks. The study's main finding was that significant savings could be achieved through the use of automated "straight-through" systems, in which a trader directly enters trade data, rather than sending handwritten tickets to the back office for processing.
