Avinash Persaud, the former head of global currency research at JP Morgan in London, will no longer be joining Putnam Investments in Boston. Persaud was named as Putnam's new managing director and head of currency last month and was due to start last week. However, a spokesperson says that due to "certain issues" which have arisen since then, he is no longer making the move. Persaud left JP Morgan some weeks ago, confirms a spokesperson, but his whereabouts could not be determined by press time
