DLJ has hired a number of staff to its new forex operation in London. Keith Dack who left Merrill Lynch in London at the end of last year, has been named as deputy head of forex sales and trading, under David O’Connor. Sven Hemmert, also from Merrill, who trades Asian currencies; Campbell Adams, a proprietary FX trader from UK corporate, British Petroleum; and Graham Bibby, a sales dealer from Bank of America all joined DLJ at the beginning of January (see related story, this issue).
