American Express Bank in London has hired Julian Brigden as regional head of global trading sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, confirms an official. Brigden was previously the former Union Bank of Switzerland's global head of hedge fund sales for foreign exchange and commodities, based in New York. Prior to joining UBS in mid-1997, Brigden was the New York FX sales manager for Lehman Brothers. At Amex, he will report to Nick Bridewell, regional treasurer for the EMEA
