Chase Boosts London Forex With Five New Sales Hires

Chase Manhattan Bank is boosting its 32-strong London-based corporate sales team with five new hires already made and two more pending, according to Albert Maasland, managing director and head of European foreign exchange sales.

Sharon Nelkin joins Chase on July 18 from Union Bank of Switzerland to work on Scandinavian sales (not Asian exotic currency coverage as stated in another press report). Sarah Rowe, formerly with Fuji Bank's London branch is already on board covering U.K. fund manager
