UBS Transfers Global FX Options Head To Singapore As Regional Head Of FX

BANKS

Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) has named New York-based Richard Silver as the new regional forex head for trading and sales based in Singapore, officials confirm. Silver retains his existing responsibilities as global head of forex derivatives.

This appointment comes almost two months after the resignation of the former regional FX manager Mark Rosasco, who left the bank to "pursue other interests" (FXW, March 10). Rosasco has not yet surfaced at another institution, according to sources.
