Peter Fischer, co-head of group treasury at Bank Austria in Vienna, will retire from the bank at the end of this month, confirms a bank source. Patrick Butler, also co-head of group treasury and former treasury chief at Creditanstalt, will take on full responsibility for the division. The moves follow the completion of the merger between Bank Austria and Creditanstalt in September.
