The six spot traders who resigned from Bank Austria in London shortly before Christmas, have joined Reiffeisen Zentral Bank Austria (RZB), according to Michael Barr, deputy general manager at RZB. Senior dealers, John Thorpe, Martin Kerr, Nick Carter, Dave Lewis, John Bogue and junior dealer, Carl Kavanagh started work last week. RZB has been seeking additional traders for a while, says Barr. The new team will trade all major currencies, particularly the US dollar and the Deutsche mark.
