ABN Amro has hired Keith Carpenter and Richard Gibbons for the FX spot desk in London, says Duncan Edwards, FX manager in London. Both Carpenter and Gibbons, who came from Lehman Brothers in similar positions, take their posts next month, he adds.
State Street Bank has hired Kevin Weir for the new position of vice president, head of institutional sales in Boston. Weir, who comes from ABN Amro where he was a vice president of institutional sales, will be reporting to Lisa Franks, vice president
