Peripatetic Michael Cornford Set To Join CL in Global Forex Role, Say Sources

Crédit Lyonnais (CL) is set to appoint the peripatetic Michael Cornford to a high-level post, most likely head of global foreign exchange, according to market sources in London. Although officials at the bank suggest that a reorganisation of responsibilities in the bank's treasury and capital markets group is likely to be announced within the next couple of weeks, no confirmation of Cornford's appointment was forthcoming before FX Week went to press.
