Georges Zuber, senior vice president at Union Bank of Switzerland in Geneva, passed away on August 29. The cause was a heart attack. Mr. Zuber was a long standing member of the forex community, most recently acting as chairman of the ACI: The Financial Markets Association's Committee for Professionalism, to which he was elected in January 1996, succeeding Eugene Prim, who was earlier elected president of the ACI.
