 Martin Dooney, who was managing director and country manager for Singapore at Barclays Capital, left the bank earlier this month, confirms a spokesperson.

Over the years, Dooney rose through the ranks at the former Barclays de Zoete Wedd (BZW) investment banking division. In 1992, he was FX manager for BZW in New York and subsequently went on to become head of global money markets in London. In Singapore, Dooney reported to Roger Davis, chairman and chief executive of Barclays Capital, Asia
