Wood-Collins will assume the role on October 1, having joined from JP Morgan Cazenove in 2008 to lead the currency manager’s client team since December last year.

Meanwhile, Record is remaining as chairman, holding an executive position to which he will commit four days a week. He will continue to play an active role with clients, investment consultants and other external parties, as well as maintaining his involvement in Record's products and product development, the company said in a statement
