Gorra is tipped to be heading to French rival BNP Paribas in New York in a month’s time.

At RBS, he reported to Roger Hawes, global head of FX spot trading in London and interim global head of electronic markets following the departure of Michelle Neal, former interim global co-head of short-term markets and financing. Neal left for Nomura earlier this year.
