BAML hires new Russia FICC sales head
Umida Umarbekova has joined the US bank as head of Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) FICC sales. In her new role, she reports locally to Riccardo Orcel, head of central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa corporate and investment banking and FICC sales.
At Goldman Sachs, Umarbekova was a managing director in London with a reporting line to Atanas Djumaliev, head of FICC sales to Russia in Moscow. Previously, she was a vice-president in emerging markets and
