Nex Optimisation appoints Colin Murphy as CCO
Murphy joins from Goldman Sachs, where he worked for more than 18 years
Colin Murphy, a former managing director for securities lending and equity finance at Goldman Sachs, has been appointed chief commercial officer at Nex Optimisation, which offers a portfolio of cloud-hosted services across the transaction lifecycle.
Murphy’s new role incorporates the function of head of sales for Nex Regulatory Reporting. He joined the organisation on May 15, and brings more than 18 years’ experience in financial markets.
At Nex, Murphy reports to Jenny Knott, chief executive
