Mike Cahill has joined Hotspot as a director in foreign exchange sales, focusing on European systematic trading and asset management firms.

The expansion of the sales team comes as the institutional FX trading platform embarks on plans to strengthen its hold in traditional markets as well as growth areas.

Cahill, who brings a wealth of sell-side experience to the role, will be based in London and report to Ben Leit, head of European FX sales at Hotspot.
