StanChart hires Greiner for G10 trading

David Greiner has joined Standard Chartered Bank as a G10 currency trader, FX Week has learned.

He reports to Eric Darwell, head of Asia and G10 FX trading for Europe and the Americas.

Greiner was previously an executive director of foreign exchange spot trading at Nomura Securities, where he began working in August 2009. He focused on spot FX, vanilla and exotic options, and interest rate futures trading.

FX Week understands Nomura and Greiner parted ways around May, and the bank also lost
