Fischer resigns from Fed board

Vice-chairman of Board of Governors will leave on or around October 13

Stanley Fischer, vice-chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, submitted his resignation from his post and membership of the board on September 6.

Fischer’s resignation will become effective on or around October 13. He has been a member of the board since May 28, 2014.
