Obituary: FX veteran Guy Plummer passes away

Known as the ‘chart man’, Plummer worked in foreign exchange for 25 years

FX Week is sorry to report that Guy Plummer, a 25-year veteran of foreign exchange markets known as the ‘chart man’, passed away suddenly on January 18 while overseas on a business trip.

Plummer was a few months short of his 50th birthday. In his most recent role, he was senior partner at London-based Curve Markets UK, an FX agency broker that he co-founded with Craig Davis in 2014.

Before Curve Markets, Plummer was a senior partner at Edenbridge Capital between June 2011 and June 2013. He
