IPC appoints new chief executive

Robert Santella will succeed Neil Barua in mid-April

Network solutions: Robert Santella has demonstrated expertise in the financial technology and services industries

Network solutions provider IPC has appointed Robert Santella as chief executive officer, replacing Neil Barua, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities.

Santella will begin his new role on April 16.

Santella, who is experienced in managing global financial, investment and trading software businesses, was president of global trading at FIS from 2015.

Before that, he was most recently president of the brokerage group at SunGard, which he joined in 2010.
