Haider set to exit BAML

Tariq Haider will leave his FX institutional sales role in London

Top exec has left the building
Tariq Haider has been based in London for several years, focusing on institutional FX sales

Tariq Haider, a managing director in FX institutional sales at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, is due to leave his post, FX Week has learned.

London-based Haider has worked at BAML since 2012 in the US bank’s institutional sales team, working under Iain Szucs, head of institutional FX sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Previously, Haider worked at Societe Generale, focusing on FX sales to hedge funds. Prior to that he headed the FX options desk at UBS, after having traded FX options
