Nex Treasury’s Meadows to retire, McHugh to take over

Justin Meadows is set to retire as chief executive of Nex Treasury in the months to come, FX Week has learned. State Street’s Peter McHugh will join the platform in September and take the helm. 

Meadows has worked at Nex’s money market fund platform since its inception in 2008 and was instrumental in its development over the following decade.

Once known as MyTreasury, the platform was brought under the EBS BrokerTec umbrella in 2015. As part of the rebranding to EBS Treasury, foreign exchange
