Alexandre Mateus joins Societe Generale as G10 FX spot trader, based in Paris

Alexandre Mateus moves to the bank from ArcelorMittal where he spent three years as an FX and commodities derivatives trader

Alexandre Mateus has joined Societe Generale in Paris as an FX trader, reporting to Cedric Beaurain, head of spot trading for the bank, FX Week has learned.

Mateus replaces Arnaud Muller, who has moved on to trade another product within FICC at the company. Muller has been with the bank for more than 11 years as an FX G10 spot trader, and with Banque Palatine as an FX G10 spot trader for two years before that.

Prior to joining Societe Generale, Mateus was an FX and commodity derivatives trader
