Bogucki lawyers subpoena HP’s trading data

Effort comes after the court denies another attempt to dismiss the superseding indictment against Bogucki

Trial date: Robert Bogucki’s trial is scheduled to begin in February 2019

Days after a federal court once again denied their motion to dismiss, Robert Bogucki’s lawyers have moved to subpoena documents from Hewlett Packard to aid his defence at a trial scheduled for early 2019.

Bogucki, a former head of foreign exchange trading at Barclays in New York, is accused of conspiracy and wire fraud affecting a financial institution. The US Department of Justice believes he used HP’s confidential information to front-run a £6 billion cable option unwind that the company
