BNP Paribas promotes Litwak to global head of FXPB

Global role: Nathaniel Litwak will be responsible for expanding BNPP's FX prime brokerage business

Nathaniel Litwak has been promoted to global head of FX prime brokerage at BNP Paribas with immediate effect, the bank has announced.

He will report to Jeff Lowe and Kieron Smith, the head and deputy head of prime solutions and the financing division, respectively.

New York-based Litwak had been the French bank’s head of FX prime brokerage for the Americas since 2014.

He joined BNP Paribas in 2009, as head of fixed-income clearing sales for the Americas.

Prior to that, Litwak was head of marketing FX prime brokerage at AIG Financial Products between 2002 and 2009.

He has also worked in FX sales and trading at Banque Indosuez, which was acquired by Credit Agricole in 1996.
