UniCredit move: Mustafa Abbas will lead foreign exchange sales to UK clients

Mustafa Abbas is moving to UniCredit to head the bank’s foreign exchange sales team for the UK, FX Week has learned.

He will report to Bernd Bröker, head of institutional sales for central and Eastern Europe, the UK and France.

London-based Abbas joins the Italian bank after leaving Deutsche Bank earlier this year.

He had worked at the German bank since 2015, focusing on FX hedge fund sales, following a two-year stint at Cerno Capital Partners, where he was an investment director.
