Darbari to head Asia FX options at Nomura

Singapore: new base for Rahul Darbari, who moves to Nomura

Rahul Darbari has become Nomura’s head of Asia foreign exchange options, based in Singapore, FX Week has learned.

He will report to Nagaraj Pangal and Asa Atwell, the global co-heads of FX options.

Singapore-based Darbari joins the Japanese bank from PR Square Investment, an Auckland investment firm he co-founded, which trades equities, FX and commercial real estate.

He previously served as global head of FX options at Australian bank ANZ between 2012 and 2016, reporting to Eddie Listorti
